Robert roane
Robert was born in Surrey County and died in Chaldon which is just south of London. I saw a suggestion that he was born in Whitehall Castle, but that would be in London. On the other hand, in Robert's will he states, "to my kinsman Thomas Roane esquire my little clock in my chamber at Whitehall..." So, maybe.

I think that Robert married Elizabeth Bartlett. I have seen some
documents suggesting a son Robert, and a daughter Elizabeth
Askew.
Our oldest ancestor is probably Anthony Roane born 1475 and died 1490. He lived in Whetstone Middlesex England (now London).
